Pierre Tam

Pierre Tam has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Pierre is currently working as a Senior Development Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd. Their previous role was as a Development Engineer at Serafina Energy Ltd. Prior to that, they held various roles at Husky Energy, including Development Engineer, Evaluations Engineer, and Development Engineer-In-Training. In these positions, Pierre was responsible for formulating and executing development plans, preparing budgets and regulatory applications, and providing technical support for operations. Pierre also gained experience in reservoir engineering and quality assurance as a Co-op Student at Husky Energy and a Summer Student at Syncrude Canada Ltd.

Pierre Tam has a diverse education history. In 2007, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Pierre completed their studies in 2012.

After gaining their undergraduate degree, Pierre went on to obtain two professional certifications as a Professional Engineer. In December 2015, they obtained the certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Then, in October 2019, they obtained the same certification from the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).

Currently, Pierre is an MBA Candidate at the Haskayne School of Business. Pierre started their Master of Business Administration program in 2021 and is expected to complete it in 2024.
