Shawn Epp has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on field operations and plant operations. Starting in 2005, Shawn worked at TransCanada-Cancarb Limited as an Operator for eight months. Shawn then joined Yara International as an Ammonia Plant Operator, where they worked for three years. In 2009, Shawn transitioned to Cenovus Energy as a Field Shift Lead, overseeing field operations. Shawn held this position for four years before moving up to Field Operations Lead at Husky Energy in 2013. At Husky Energy, Shawn also served as a Field Day Lead. In 2021, they joined Cenovus Energy as a Field Coordinator, and in 2022, they started working at Strathcona Resources Ltd. as a Senior Supervisor, leading thermal operations at the Tucker site. Overall, Shawn has developed a comprehensive skill set in field and plant operations, making him a valuable asset in their current role.
Shawn Epp attended Lakeland College Canada from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued Natural Resources Technology. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to study Power Engineering, obtaining a degree in Power Engineering Technology.
