Bess Amerman

Bess Amerman has a diverse work experience in finance and operations roles. Bess is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Strathmore Hall Foundation, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at PeerForward for six years, where they held various positions including Managing Director of Finance and Operations, Director of Financial Analysis and Planning, and Grants and Contracts Manager. Before joining PeerForward, Bess served as the Treasurer and Chair of the Audit Committee for the Board of Directors at Hero Dogs, Inc., a non-profit organization. Bess also has experience as an Audit Senior Associate at CohnReznick LLP and as the COO of BOS Group, LLC. Earlier in their career, Bess worked as an Office Manager at Global Secure.

Bess Amerman obtained a Masters of Science degree in Accounting and Business and Accounting from American University - Kogod School of Business in 2009-2010. Earlier, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Binghamton University in 2002-2004. Additionally, they have a background in Business and Accounting from SUNY Canton.
