Markus Noga

Markus Noga is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of STRATO and CTO of IONOS as of April 2023.

Markus Noga leads the technical development of the portfolio of international cloud and web hosting products, including the Arsys and FastHosts brands. He is also responsible for the infrastructure of the STRATO and IONOS data centers in Germany, France, Spain, Great Britain and the United States, including the Wide Area Network and the IONOS Data Center Networks.

Markus Noga began his professional career at Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy & PWC). Between 2011 and 2020 he worked at SAP, where he was in charge, among other functions, of the development of HANA Enterprise Cloud and the Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence business area. During the period 2020 to 2023, he was part of SUSE; finally serving as General Manager of the Linux business area. Markus Noga studied Computer Science at the University of Karlsruhe (Germany), where he also obtained a PhD.
