Amir Fridman

Amir Fridman is an experienced corporate leader with a focus on development and capital investments. Since May 2016, Amir has served as the Director of Corporate Development and Capital Investments at Western Digital. In addition to this role, Amir is currently a Board Observer for multiple companies including UPMEM, Pliops, ScyllaDB, and Stratoscale, contributing valuable insights and guidance. Amir has previously played significant roles in the acquisition processes of several companies, such as Elastifile (acquired by Google Cloud), Magisto (acquired by Vimeo), and Corephotonics (acquired by Samsung Semiconductor). Previous positions at SanDisk included Director of Corporate Business Development and Director of Product Management, showcasing a strong background in business strategy and engineering. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Computer Science and Math from Bar-Ilan University.
