Christian Carlsson

Christian Carlsson has a diverse range of work experience in the field of UI/UX design. Christian'smost recent position is as a Senior UI Designer at Stratsys, starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they operated as a Freelance UI/UX Designer under their own company, Christian Carlsson Design AB, from July 2021.

Christian worked as a UI/UX Designer at Lynk & Co from February 2016 to May 2021. During this time, they also had their own consultancy company called Cliff Design, which complemented their role at Lynk & Co. Christian describes Cliff Design as an ambitious company with talented individuals.

Before entering the professional realm, Christian completed their Master Thesis in 2015 under various companies. This project involved creating guidelines and redesign proposals for spectator user interfaces in competitive video games. The thesis also included extensive user testing with over 1,000 respondents.

Christian's career began with a Bachelor Thesis at Somfy in 2012. Here, they proposed a redesign for their awning controlling software, expanding its capabilities to manage larger-scale buildings. This experience provided him with valuable insights into the software industry and the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team at Somfy.

Christian Carlsson has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering (Designingenjör) from Chalmers University of Technology, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Christian also holds a Master's Degree in Interaction Design and Technologies from Chalmers University of Technology, which they pursued from 2013 to 2015.
