Elaine Burr has over 30 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Elaine began their career in 1986 as a Computer Information Systems Audit Manager at Price Waterhouse. In 1995, they joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. as a Business Information Analyst, where they identified and documented user requirements for an intranet-based supply management system, managed the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, evaluated available software solutions, and supervised user test phase, intranet security configuration and implementation. Elaine also provided financial accounting and information system expertise to non-traditional team-based internal audit function. In 2013, they became the Director of Accounting at Stratum Nutrition.
Elaine Burr attended Brenau College from 1979 to 1981, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Elaine then attended the University of Central Florida from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Science. Following that, they attended the University of Central Florida again from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting. In 1989, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from Florida.
