Derya Guvenc is a seasoned expert in strategic insights and market analysis with extensive experience in the grocery and retail sectors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently serving as Strategic Insights Lead at Streetbees since February 2022, Derya previously held the position of Associate Director of Strategic Insights at Consulting by Kantar, where responsibilities included managing projects for global FMCG brands and mentoring a specialized team. Derya’s expertise includes channel planning, retail economics, and growth strategies, complemented by roles as Principal Insights Consultant and Senior Analyst at Kantar Consulting, as well as experience in market analysis at Planet Retail focusing on Central and Eastern Europe. Earlier career background includes research management at the Turkish Council of Shopping Centers & Retailers and project assistance for various initiatives with The World Bank. Derya holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boğaziçi University.
