Christy Willoughby

Christy Willoughby is a highly skilled data science professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Director of Data Science at StreetLight since March 2018, Christy has previously held roles as Data Science Manager and Data Scientist at the same organization, which specializes in using smartphones to model mobility patterns for urban planning. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Tubi TV, a free streaming service acquired by Fox Corporation, as well as a Data Science Fellow at Zipfian Academy at Galvanize gSchool. Christy began a career at the University of Minnesota as a Doctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Neuroscience, exploring neuronal signaling, after serving as a Research Technician II at Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on genetic mouse models for biomedical research. Educational credentials include a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from Drake University.
