Danielle DeRosa, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in the field of structural engineering. Danielle started their career as a Structural Engineering Intern at Sobotec Ltd., where they prepared engineering calculations and developed design solutions for exterior wall cladding systems. Danielle also worked as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University and Queen's University, where they assisted in teaching and conducting research on reinforced concrete structures and low-temperature effects. Danielle then joined RWDI as a Technical Coordinator, analyzing wind tunnel data and calculating wind loads for structural and cladding design. Danielle later worked at Sobotec Ltd. as a Design Engineer, designing custom aluminum architectural cladding elements and their anchorage systems. Currently, Danielle is working at StressCrete Group as a Structural Engineer and Director of Engineering - Structural, overseeing the engineering department and contributing to structural design projects.
Danielle DeRosa, P.Eng. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from McMaster University from 2005 to 2010. Danielle then pursued their Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Structural Engineering at Queen's University from 2010 to 2012.
