Carla Shelton

Carla Shelton is an experienced office manager and career specialist with a diverse background in recruitment and compliance. Currently serving as the Office Manager at Stride, Inc. since August 2019, Carla leads the administrative functions for the Arizona Virtual Academy and Insight Academy of Arizona, overseeing a team of up to 13 employees and implementing effective processes that ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior to this role, Carla worked as a Career Specialist at Estrella Mountain Community College, where guidance was provided to students in career development. As the owner of H2HR Consulting, Carla focused on helping small businesses improve their hiring processes. Previous experience includes recruitment advisory roles at BP Cherry Point Refinery and community affairs coordination at BP Exploration Alaska, alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication from Texas State University.
