Joel Gowman

Joel Gowman has a strong background in data engineering and cloud engineering. Joel currently works at Stride, Inc. as a Lead Data Product Platform Engineer. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Continuus Technologies. Joel also has experience at Stride, Inc. as a Cloud Engineer and Lead Data Engineer. Joel started their career as a Teacher at Cumberland County Schools and later worked as a Master Teacher of Remediation and Assessment at Agora Cyber Charter School. It is worth mentioning that Joel has been with Stride, Inc. since 2011, holding various roles including School Management and Services Analyst.

Joel Gowman obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they studied Elementary Education and Teaching at Geneva College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from 1999 to 2003. Aside from their educational background, Joel Gowman has also acquired several certifications, which include Snowflake Sales Professional Accreditation, Snowflake Technical Sales Professional Accreditation, dbt Developer, SnowPro Core Certification, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
