Niko R.

Niko R. has a diverse work experience across multiple companies. They started their career in 2009 as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs and worked there until 2011. In 2013, they joined Bitcoin as an Evangelist and continued in that role till the present day. In 2018, Niko joined Twitter as a Support Lead and worked there until the end of 2019. Their most recent position is at Strike, where they started in 2021 as the Vice President of Engineering, and later became the Head of Bitcoin in 2023.

Niko R. completed their education with a Bachelor of Information Technology from Université Paris-Sorbonne, where they attended from 2001 to 2007. Before that, they earned a Comtrade Programmer degree in Computer Science from Srednja škola za informacione tehnologije – ITHS, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Niko R. further pursued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Molecular Biology (MEng) in 2008.
