Dan Carothers

Daniel Carothers is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in photonics and semiconductor technology. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Strike Photonics since March 2020, Daniel previously founded and led DC Photonics LLC., focusing on program acquisition and technology development in the semiconductor sector. Daniel's prior roles include Principal Research Scientist at Samsung Semiconductor, where Daniel spearheaded technology planning for photonic and electro-optic product development, and Senior Researcher at Texas Instruments, leading developments in photonic integrated circuits. Daniel has also held key positions at ASPIRE Semiconductor LLC. and BAE Systems, where significant contributions were made to government research and innovation in photonics and RF technologies. Education credentials include a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Brunel University London and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Arizona State University.
