Saumya A.

Saumya A. has extensive experience in research and academia, currently serving as Scientist II at String Bio Private Limited since February 2020, after previously holding the position of Scientist I. Prior to this, Saumya A. worked as a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati from July 2012 to September 2019, and served as a Lecturer at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology from January 2011 to June 2012. Earlier roles include summer internships at ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute Campus and ICAR-Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research in 2007 and 2006, respectively. Saumya A. holds a PhD in Biosciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, along with a Master of Technology in Chemical Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law from other esteemed institutions. Additionally, Saumya A. obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology.
