Amar Virk

Amar Virk has a diverse work experience in various companies. They started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Beca in 2008 and worked until 2011. They then worked as a Product Manager Intern at Amazon in 2012 and as a Senior Consultant at Parthenon-EY from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Symphony Commerce as a Product Manager and stayed there until 2016. At Uber, from 2016 to 2018, they served as the Group Lead for Virtual Restaurants, where they successfully launched virtual restaurants globally. They joined Facebook in 2018 as a Product Manager and led the growth of Lead Ads by 200% and managed a team. Currently, Amar is working at Stripe as a Product Lead, leading the risk and compliance platform team.

Amar Virk holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Auckland, which was completed in 2007. Amar also earned an MBA degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Cornell University in 2013.
