Evan Kay

Evan Kay is a skilled Software Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Currently employed at Stripe since January 2019, Evan initially joined as a Software Engineering Intern in June 2018. Prior experience includes software engineering internships at Capital One, where Evan developed an API to analyze GitHub contributions, and Charm++, where Evan modernized a legacy task management system. As the Founder and CTO of Activity Assist, Evan pioneered a web application to enhance school permission slip and payment processes, collaborating with educational institutions to better meet user needs. Evan also contributed to RetailMeNot, Inc. by building a storefront for gift cards, and implemented process improvement applications for the South Orange Maplewood School District.
