Kye Burchard

Kye Burchard is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Stripe since February 2021, after initially joining as a Software Engineer Intern in 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Garage Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft, where Kye designed a modular data architecture and improved team Git workflows, and a position as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab, focused on algorithm design for the Rhythm Badges project. Kye has also demonstrated leadership as the Logistics Head for HackMIT 2019, contributing to sponsorship efforts and event management. Kye holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2021. Other positions include Deputy Field Organizer for the Montana Democratic Party and roles in retail at Shopko.
