Mengfei Gao

Mengfei Gao serves as the Global Head of Payment Partnerships at Stripe since February 2019, having previously held multiple leadership roles in payment and product partnerships across EMEA. Prior to joining Stripe, Mengfei Gao was the Director of Partnerships - EMEA at Vend by Lightspeed, where significant contributions were made including the commercial director role in North America and the establishment of Vend's global expansion strategy. Earlier in the career, Mengfei Gao worked at Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd as a Consultant in Tax Law and Advisory, providing consultancy to multinational companies. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Tax Law, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Accounting, all from The University of Auckland.
