Ryan Sheffield

Ryan Sheffield is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Striveworks since August 2022, where responsibilities include serving as a technical project manager and team lead across various AI/ML tasks to enhance customer success with the Chariot MLOps platform. Prior experience includes roles at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from May 2016 to August 2022, where positions ranged from technical lead in projects focused on object detection and autonomy to Principal Investigator in areas such as adversarial machine learning. Additional internships and fellowships include positions at Florida International University, the U.S. Department of Energy, and Stryker. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University.
