Scott Carpenter

Scott Carpenter, PhD, is a seasoned data scientist specializing in machine learning, currently employed at Striveworks since October 2021. With extensive experience in data architecture and software engineering, Scott has held senior roles at organizations such as Growers, ARA, and Cisco, where responsibilities included designing complex data systems, managing AI projects for the Department of Defense, and implementing full-stack solutions for big data consolidation. Previous positions also include academic roles as an instructor and associate professor at Meredith College and significant contributions as a computer science research developer at North Carolina State University. Scott's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
