Jeyhun Farajli has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Jeyhun started their career in 2015 as a Petroleum Engineer at "H.Z.Tagiyev" OGPD of SOCAR. Jeyhun then worked as a Petroleum Engineer at "A.Amirov" OGPD of SOCAR in 2016. In 2017, Jeyhun joined Halliburton as a Process & Pipelines Projects and Field Engineer, where they were responsible for engineering integrated solutions on production facilities and managing customer relations. Jeyhun also worked as a Summer Intern at Halliburton during that time. In 2022, Jeyhun joined Saipem as a Precommissioning and Hydrotesting Engineer, where they managed projects, provided technical support, and facilitated project risk assessment. Currently, they are working at Strohm as a TCP Engineer, starting in 2023.

Jeyhun Farajli pursued their education in Petroleum Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from both Heriot-Watt University and Baku Higher Oil School. Jeyhun attended Heriot-Watt University from 2013 to 2017 and concurrently studied at Baku Higher Oil School during the same period.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jeyhun Farajli has also obtained several certifications. In August 2018, they acquired certifications in various areas from Halliburton in Aberdeen, including Assembling & Tightening of Bolted Connections, Camera Inspection, Chemical Cleaning, Fluid Pumping - Theory & Practice, HPS PPS Tier 1, Helium Leak Detection, Nitrogen Pumping & Handling, PPS InnerVue Data Collection, Pipeline Pre-commissioning, and Piping & Instrument Drawings/Isometric Drawings.

Furthermore, they obtained a Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) certification from OPITO in July 2021 and a STCW certification in February 2019.
