Luis Hissa has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Luis began their career as a R&D Intern at TechnipFMC in 2020, where they focused on developing new tools and technologies for flexible pipelines. Luis also conducted tests and evaluated results to optimize pipeline performance. After their internship, Luis worked as a Jr. Installation Engineer at TechnipFMC from October 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they were responsible for creating reports, procedures, and technical specifications for offshore installations. Luis collaborated with operations and construction management teams to plan and oversee the execution of projects. Currently, Luis works as a Project Engineer at Strohm, starting in February 2023.
Luis Hissa obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. Luis studied at this institution from 2014 to 2021. In addition, Luis also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany, from 2018 to 2019.
