Susan Skonetski has over 30 years of work experience in various customer advocacy and management roles. Susan began their career at DEC in 1985 as a Program Manager. Susan then joined HP in 1983, where they held several positions including OpenVMS Customer and Field Technical Programs Manager. At HP, Susan developed strong relationships with customers and the field, creating a vibrant community. Susan also served as the OpenVMS Program Manager and worked in networking and small business roles. In 2009, Susan moved to eCube Systems as the VP of Relationship Management, focusing on customers using Eclipse-based tooling for OpenVMS development. Susan later joined Nemonix Engineering, Inc. as the VP of Customer and Field Advocacy, primarily supporting enterprise customers with heritage hardware and helping them plan for migration. Susan then became the VP of Customer Advocacy at VMS Software Inc. in 2014, working closely with VMS customers, engineers, partners, and field personnel. Presently, Susan is retired but remains active in customer support through their role as a Customer Advocate.
