Henry Tugume

Henry Tugume has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. HENRY currently holds the role of Regional Finance and Risk Director Africa at StrongMinds, where they oversee the finance function and is responsible for tasks such as reviewing the accuracy of monthly closing processes and developing budgets. Prior to StrongMinds, they worked as a Financial Services Consultant at TUG Consults. HENRY also served as a Finance Manager at Mott MacDonald from 2018 to 2022 and as a Finance Manager at Global Health Uganda in 2017. HENRY has previous experience at Watoto Child Care Ministries, where they held roles such as Senior Finance Officer, Finance Officer Reporting and Reconciliation, and Accounts Assistant Payments and Receipts. Additionally, they briefly worked in Business Development at Bin It Services Ltd in 2011.

Henry Tugume has a diverse education history. HENRY obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computerized Accounting from Makerere University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, Henry pursued further education and earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) in January 2017.

In 2012, Henry returned to ICPAU to pursue another degree, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services, Tax, and strategic management/Planning, which they completed in 2015. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Uganda Management Institute and achieved a Masters in Institutional Management and Leadership, focusing on Organizational Leadership, from 2018 to 2021.

Throughout their education journey, Henry consistently aimed to enhance their expertise in accounting and financial management. HENRY'seducational qualifications and certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional growth in the field.
