Tesfaye Tekelu

Tesfaye Tekelu is a seasoned professional in the fields of martial arts, somatics, and social advancement. Currently serving as the Martial Arts Director and Senior Teaching Artist at Destiny Arts Center since March 2016, Tesfaye also holds the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Embodied Leadership and Somatic Coach at the Strozzi Institute for Somatics, roles maintained since January 2005. As a co-founder of the Institute for Social Advancement since January 2013 and the founder of Aikido Ethiopia since January 2006, Tesfaye demonstrates a strong commitment to leadership and community development through martial arts and somatic practices.
