Matthé Contant has 26 years of work experience in various roles within the engineering industry. Most recently, they worked as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at STRYDE since January 2021. Prior to that, they owned their own consulting firm, Tech-C Technical Consulting Services, from April 2019 to December 2020, where they utilized their expertise in mechanical design for seismic systems and down-hole oilfield tools.
From August 2011 to June 2019, Contant served as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at WesternGeco, where they were responsible for designing and developing a one-million-sensor-land-nodal-seismic system. Matthé led a team of five mechanical engineers and was instrumental in bringing the system to the commercialization stage.

Contant began their career as a Field Engineer at Flopetrol International S.A. in Islamabad, Pakistan from March 1995 to October 1996. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, innovation, and a strong background in mechanical design.
From 1986 to 1992, Matthé Contant attended Eindhoven University of Technology, where they pursued a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
