Natalia Fernández Matienzo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Natalia started their career as a Cultural Journalist at Radar y Radar Libros - Página 12 in 2000 and worked there until 2002. Natalia then transitioned into the publishing industry, holding positions as a Jr. Editor at Editorial Crítica - Grupo Planeta from 2004 to 2009 and as a Sr. Editor at Editorial Gedisa from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, Natalia made a shift to the finance field and joined Ingram Micro as a Master Data Analyst, later becoming an Accounts Receivable Specialist and then an Accountant. Natalia worked at Ingram Micro until 2014.

In 2015, they moved to D-Link Iberia and served as a Financial Controller for Spain & Portugal from February to December. Natalia then became the Chief Accountant from January 2016 to April 2017.

Since 2017, Natalia has been with Stuart, a technology company, where they started as a Finance Manager for Spain and the UK. Natalia then progressed to becoming the Global Head of Accounting & Finance in July 2018 and is currently the Global Director of Accounting & Finance since January 2022.

Natalia Fernández Matienzo has a diverse education background. Natalia holds a Master's degree in Tax Consultancy from UPF Barcelona School of Management, which they completed from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a course in Tax, Labor, and Accounting Consultancy at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros from 2015 to 2016. Natalia also has practical knowledge in accounting gained from a course at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros in 2013. In 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Financial and Accounting Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Natalia also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, which they received from EADA Business School in 2010. Natalia's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, which they completed from 2002 to 2008 at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Furthermore, they attended a course on effective communication and persuasion at IESE Business School in 2020, enhancing their skills in business, management, marketing, and related disciplines.
