Anna Joe

Anna Joe has a diverse work experience. Anna started their career as a Front Desk employee at Travelog Travel Agency in 2016. Later that year, they also volunteered as a Fundraising volunteer at Dean Foundation Charitable Trust. In 2016, they worked as an Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation volunteer at Uganda Wildlife Education Center.

In 2017, Anna worked as an Assistant Embryologist at Women's Hospital International and Fertility Centre, where they assisted with egg transfers, egg retrieval, and other reproductive processes.

In 2019, they interned as a Research and Policy Coordinator at Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, where they conducted research projects and participated in patient discussions. In the same year, Anna also worked as a Junior Software Engineer (Intern) at Identity Square, where they built working gems and collaborated with the development team.

In 2020, they became a Junior Software Developer at Edgescan. In this role, they worked on frontend and backend development, collaborated with stakeholders to meet requirements, and provided support during the deployment.

From 2021 to 2023, Anna worked as a Software Developer at Nurture - Formative Assessment & Feedback EdTech. Here, they developed a Microsoft Teams EdTech application using React.js and Ruby on Rails. Anna also worked in a team of three engineers, designed and built roadmaps for large upgrading features, handled timely deploys, and performed quality testing.

In 2023, Anna joined STUDEO as a Software Developer, and they are currently working in this role.

Anna Joe completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology from Women's Christian College in Chennai, spanning from 2015 to 2018. Subsequently, from 2018 to 2019, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin.
