Genesis Parras

Genesis Parras has a varied work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Technical Support Specialist for Studio Designer. From 2019-2022, they worked as a Barista for Starbucks, where they memorized over 50 menu items and created custom drinks for 100 to 300 customers a shift, while providing friendly customer service and managing cash flow operations. From 2017-2019, they worked as a Supervisor for VONS, where they processed complex financial transactions with 98% accuracy and efficacy, and applied problem solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and disputes. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Step-Up Tutor for Miami Dade College, where they provided interactive one-on-one tutoring sessions across various subjects, while assisting in the development of strong learning and studying techniques.

Genesis Parras obtained a Certificate in Computer Software Engineering from Thinkful in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in BioPharmaceutical from Miami Dade College between 2011 and 2016. Genesis also obtained a Software Engineer certification from Thinkful in December 2021.
