Terry Lapointe

Terry Lapointe is an experienced sound engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a sound engineer for The Independent SF since March 2020 and for Stephane Wrembel and their band since July 2012, Terry has a strong background in audio and backline technology as a system tech at Studio Instrument Rentals since September 2004. Previous roles include sound engineer and stage manager at TLP inc since March 1992, touring front of house engineer for Fruition from April 2016 to March 2023, part-time front of house engineer for Blackalicious from April 2015 to April 2017, and stage manager for Theivery Corporation from August 2013 to April 2017. Terry also served as stage manager for the Wakarusa music festival from 2006 to June 2016 and as sound engineer for Hot Buttered Rum from December 2011 to May 2016. In early 2016, Terry worked as a production manager and sound engineer for Morgan Heritage Ltd. Education includes an Associate's degree in Music Video Business from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, completed in 1992.
