Nathan Chen

Nathan Chen has worked in the design industry since 2015. Nathan began their career as a Drafting Intern at Greenearth Engineering in 2015. The following year, they worked as an Architectural Intern at Andrew Wagner Architects. In 2017, they worked as an Architectural Intern at Pickard Chilton, where they worked on a mixed-use urban master plan project in Tokyo. In 2018, they worked as an Architectural Designer at SHoP Architects, where they collaborated with other designers and engineers to conceptualize innovative and feasible architectural design solutions. In 2019, they continued to work as an Architectural Designer at Ennead Architects LLP, where they worked on various projects. In 2021, they were part of the Product Splash 2021 Cohort at Product Buds, where they collaborated with two product managers to conceptualize solutions for improving dating after COVID lockdowns. Nathan also currently works as a UX Designer at Johnny Concert, LLC, where they redesigned an eCommerce website for clean vegan makeup. Nathan also works as a Product Designer at Unconvo, where they designed a new feature for the company. Nathan will also begin working as a Product Designer at Studio Rodrigo in 2022.

Nathan Chen attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Nathan is currently enrolled in Designlab's UX Academy program and is expected to complete the program in 2022.
