Tracy Jones Martin has worked in the energy industry since 1999. Tracy began their career as a Reservoir Engineer at ExxonMobil, where they led reservoir technical evaluations of infill drilling and workover programs and optimized depletion plans for several oil and gas producing fields. Tracy then moved on to become a Senior Development Planning Engineer, both globally and in Papua New Guinea (PNG). In this role, they managed P'nyang integrated project teams for Petroleum Development License (PDL) applications and led early project planning for PNG Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) expansion efforts. After this, they became an Engineering Team Lead for the Early Pursuit Team, which identified opportunities and articulated value propositions for Exploration Company decision makers. Tracy then moved on to become a Joint Interest / Reservoir Engineering Advisor in the US, coordinating subsurface engineering technical deliverables and influencing for top Gulf of Mexico (GOM) joint interest assets. In 2020, Tracy began working as an Independent Consultant in the energy industry, retained by Caliche Development Partners for project management and engineering consulting. Most recently, in 2021, Tracy took on the role of Program Director and Project Manager at Studio X, where they flawlessly managed multiple projects while helping build program strategy. Tracy developed program approaches and drove scope management with department leaders, overseeing day-to-day E2E execution of multiple short-duration (<6 mo), energy/tech projects from sponsor sourcing, scope framing, XiR (Explorer in Residence) selection, contracting, virtual platform set-up, account management, and operations (customer support) through close-out for maximum value delivery within an agile environment.

Tracy Jones Martin has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geological Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Tracy has also completed the Enterprise Leadership Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the ExxonMobil Gas Business Fundamentals course at Thunderbird School of Global Management. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2022, Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 3 Core Services, Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 2 Security, and Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 1 Cloud Concepts from LinkedIn in March 2022, Sustainable Energy Development: Bronze Belt from the University of Houston in June 2021, CCSx: Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage from edX in December 2020, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, and Professional Engineer (P.E.) - Petroleum Engineering from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
