Michael Schreiber's work experience includes a role as the President of Scripted Content at Studio71, LP since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the President of Tapestry Films & Television from 2004 to 2016, where they were responsible for identifying, developing, and producing feature films, television series, and streaming content. Michael also created Tapestry Television and was involved in day-to-day operations and creative development. Before that, Michael worked at Miramax in the Dimension Films/Production & Development department, where they supported the Chairman and President of the studio and worked closely with various departments on film production and release. Michael also gained experience as a Showrunner's Assistant at Warner Bros. Television, supporting key executives on the show "The West Wing." Additionally, they worked as an Assistant at Moxie/Firecracker Films, assisting co-founders Liz Garbus and Rory Kennedy on various projects.
Michael Schreiber attended The Maret School from 1990 to 1994. Michael then pursued higher education at Brown University from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Modern Culture and Media & Theatre Arts.
