Qiantong Gao

Lily Gao is a Bachelor of Science candidate in Computer Science with a minor in Business at Rice University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Lily has gained diverse experience through several internships, including a Software Engineer Intern position at Wayfair focusing on Supplier Advertising Experience and a Backend Software Engineer Intern role at the Rice Computer Science Department, where Lily designed a peer evaluation web application. Additionally, Lily participated in the Goldman Sachs Engineering Possibilities Summit and completed a Software Engineer Externship at ExtraHop. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for an introductory computer science course, evaluating assignments, and providing student support. An internship as an Algorithm Engineer at Beijing Telesound Electronics contributed to a project aimed at improving safety measures through luggage analysis.
