Steven Mulligan has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Steven began their career at Career Education Corporation as an Articulation Coordinator, where they managed a team and developed degree plans. Steven then joined Keller Graduate School of Management as a Senior Admissions Advisor, recruiting domestic and international students and conducting outreach activities. Steven later worked at Kendall College as an Executive Director of Admissions, overseeing a team and implementing sales initiatives. At National Louis University, they served as the Executive Director of Enrollment - Sales & Operations, managing department operations and leading a team across multiple states. Currently, Steven is employed at Studyportals, first as the Regional Director for North America and later as the Chief Commercial Officer for North America.

In 2020, Steven attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for a brief period and obtained a Certificate in Executive Leadership. Additionally, in November 2022, they obtained a certification as a UPCEA Network Leader from UPCEA (University Professional and Continuing Education Association).
