Naomi Adler Dancis has over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry. Naomi began their career in 2000 as a Cartography Editor at Avalon Travel Publishing \u2022 Perseus Books. In 2005, they moved to Disney Publishing Worldwide as an Assistant to the Editor. In 2007, they worked at Adler Editorial as an Editor, Proofreader, Writer, and Designer. In the same year, they also worked at Avalon Travel - Perseus Books as an Editor. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at NBCUniversal as an Editorial. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Social Studies School Service as an Editorial Director and Senior Editor. Currently, they are a Senior Director of Curriculum Design at Imagine Learning and a Director of Curriculum Design at StudySync.
Naomi Adler Dancis has a diverse educational background. Naomi began their studies in 1994 at Brandeis University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies and Art History in 1998. In 2001 and 2002, they attended Editcetera and earned Certificates in Proofreading and Copyediting. In 2009, they earned a Certificate in Adobe Creative Suite from The Art Institutes. In 2010, they earned a Certificate in Graphic Design from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD), and a Certificate in Introduction to Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Finally, from 2011 to 2012, they attended Art Center College of Design.
