Hannah Carmichael

Hannah Carmichael has a diverse work experience in the field of journalism and communication. Hannah was employed as a Production Journalist at STV Group plc since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Political Reporter at PA Media from April 2022 to November 2022. Hannah also gained experience as a Multimedia Journalist at Newsquest from January 2020 to April 2022. In addition, they worked as a Freelance Journalist, taking on various projects from July 2019 to January 2021. Hannah started their career in 2016 as a Freelance Blogger for whathannahwrote, monetizing their blog and writing sponsored posts for global brands. Hannah also had internship experiences at BBC, BBC News, Radio Clyde, and The Evening Times in 2019. Furthermore, they worked as a Communications Intern at Bruichladdich Distillery Company Limited, where they created content for their websites and social media accounts from May 2018 to August 2018.

Hannah Carmichael pursued their education at Glasgow Caledonian University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in International Business. This educational journey took place from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Hannah went on to enroll at the same university to complete a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Journalism, which spanned from 2018 to 2019.
