Jody Black

Jody Black has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and motion graphics. They started their career at Edinburgh College of Art as an Animation Studio Assistant in 2008. Jody then worked at BBC Scotland as a Visual Effects & Compositing artist from 2009 to 2010. They also held roles as Post Production Operator and Edit Assistant/Media Library for T in the Park in the same company during 2010-2011. During this time, Jody was commissioned to redesign BBC Scotland's drama series River City and directed a single camera unit for the project.

In 2012, Jody worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at BBC Scotland, where they designed and composited sequences for various programs. They also had short-term roles in Post Production Graphics at Sunset & Vine and Motion Graphic Designer at CBBC Scotland in the same year. In 2013, Jody joined STV Group plc, where they started as a Graphic Designer and later became a Senior Graphic Designer.

Jody also had freelance experience as a Motion Graphic Designer before joining STV Group plc in 2012.

Jody Black completed their education at three different institutions. Jody first attended George Watson's College, although the specific years are unknown. Finally, they enrolled at the Edinburgh College of Art from 2003 to 2007, where they completed a BA Hons degree in Visual communication with a specialization in Animation.
