Rares Serban

Rares Serban has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rares started their career as the GM/CREATIVE DIRECTOR at Lykon Advertising, where they successfully managed the company's startup, achieved significant turnover growth, and expanded the customer portfolio. Rares then worked as the GM's Assistant Manager at Andrew Nurnberg Bucharest, where they achieved the highest advance contracted on the Romanian copyright market and implemented efficient database and collection systems. Rares then transitioned to the marketing field, working as the Marketing and Channel Manager at Nestle, where they were responsible for marketing and trade marketing management, innovation/renovation, and trade assets management. Rares later joined Metro Cash and Carry as a Target Group Manager, focusing on defining business models for private label brands and developing business cases with related budgets. Rares also worked at Photos Photiades Group as a Route to Market and Trade Marketing Manager, where they were involved in the complete solution for the route to consumer framework and deployment. Their most recent work experience includes being self-employed as an Android Engineer, building various applications from scratch and making extensive use of architecture components like MVVM. Currently, Rares is an Android Developer at STV Group plc, where they are involved in the native Android application development and the migration from JAVA to Kotlin, among other tasks.

Between 2007 and 2009, Rares Serban attended the Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing - Master in Strategic Marketing.

From 2003 to 2007, they also pursued their Bachelor's degree in Marketing - Strategic Marketing from the same institution, Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti.
