Jason Pham has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Jason started their career as an Editorial Intern at The Davis Dirt, where they wrote and formatted event entries and participated in event planning. Jason then moved on to work as an Editorial Intern at HollywireTV, where they pitched and wrote web stories and scripted for a popular YouTube show. Jason also worked as an Editorial Intern/Freelancer at Sactown Magazine, writing metro-related web articles and compiling round-ups. Jason then became the Campus News Editor at The California Aggie, managing a team of reporters and covering campus-related news. Jason gained further experience as an Editorial Intern at The Hollywood Reporter, reporting on red carpet events and conducting talent interviews. Jason later worked as a Film/Television Writer at Galo Magazine, conducting Q&As with actors and directors and securing exclusive coverage. Jason then served as a Weekend Editor at Wetpaint, overseeing the weekend editorial operation and managing social media accounts. Jason also worked as an Events Reporter at Variety, reporting on red carpet events and writing interviews with talent. Jason's freelance work included writing profiles, features, and news articles for publications like WWD, Bustle, Vox's Racked, and NBC Asian America. Jason currently holds the position of Entertainment Director at STYLECASTER, where they manage the Entertainment section, writes and edits various types of content, and conducts interviews with notable figures in the industry.
Jason Pham completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and English (with a Creative Writing emphasis) from the University of California, Davis, from 2012 to 2016. Jason then pursued a Master of Science degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, attending from 2016 to 2017.
