Zhongxiao Wang

Zhongxiao (Iris) Wang currently serves as Principal Scientist at Stylus Medicine since March 2023. Previously, Zhongxiao was a Senior Scientist at EdiGene Biotechnology USA, where leadership of a team conducting pharmacology and toxicology studies for AAV-based gene editing in genetic ophthalmic diseases was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes a Scientist role at Biogen, focusing on AAV-based gene therapy for ocular conditions, and a Research Fellow position at Boston Children's Hospital, contributing to novel therapeutic strategies for retinal diseases. Zhongxiao's educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a PhD in ophthalmic laboratory technology, alongside previous studies in physiology and medicine.
