Kyle O'Connor

Kyle O'Connor has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry. In 2022, they began working as a Technical Implementation Engineer at Submittable and as a Software Engineer at Vive. In 2020, they were an Associate Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they designed and implemented an automation platform for risk reduction and data quality issue remediation, created net new data processes for data across modern and legacy source of records, and assembled an API for customer interaction with the data. Kyle also worked as a Project Engineering Intern at Procter & Gamble, where they analyzed data from the project's beta user group, created data cleansing automations, and created pivot dashboards and summaries of the data. In 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Research Intern for Edaptive via Cincinnati Innovation Center, where they researched and implemented novel machine learning models for anomaly detection, collaborated with the PI on model implementation, training, and metric optimization, and presented findings to the CEO/CTO on a monthly basis. Kyle also worked as a Command and Control Developer at Urbanloop. In 2018, they were an Enterprise Developer Intern at Worldpay and an Information Technology Intern at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies. In 2017 and 2016, they worked as a Computer Science/Engineering Co-op at Diebold Nixdorf.

Kyle O'Connor attended the University of Cincinnati from 2015 to 2020, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2020 and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science in 2020. Kyle also attended freeCodeCamp from 2016 to 2017, earning a Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering.
