Chris Griffiths

Chris Griffiths is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience at Subsea 7 since July 2005, currently serving as Chief Engineer on the PLSV Seven Sun, overseeing all technical departments, operations, and maintenance, while ensuring efficient performance for major oil clients. Previous roles include 1st Engineer on the PLSV Seven Rio and onboard the flagship Seven Borealis, as well as 2nd and 3rd Engineer positions on various offshore vessels. Chris began the engineering career as an Engineer Cadet with Stolt Offshore. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Marine Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University, an MCA 2nd Engineer Officer Unlimited certification, and ongoing professional development in engineering and maritime safety.
