Marcelo Xavier

Marcelo began his career in Subsea 7 in 2001 as a pipeline engineer and over the last 20 years has held a number of operational and commercial roles within the Subsea 7 Group.

In 2017, Marcelo was appointed Vice President for Brazil after three years working for the Africa region based in France. In 2021, he was appointed Group Vice President for Sales and Marketing based in the UK.

Marcelo holds a Masters degree in Subsea Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He also holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Brazil.
