Arefin Akbar is an experienced professional in category management and business strategy, currently serving as a Category Manager at subtel GmbH since February 2023. Previously, Arefin worked at Wayfair as a Business Strategy Operations & Category Management Intern, where responsibilities included analyzing KPIs and conducting root cause analysis using GBQ/SQL and Excel, as well as supporting financial reporting. Additionally, Arefin gained valuable experience as a Working Student in Supply Chain Operations at Amazon, managing inbound and outbound logistics. Arefin holds a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from Rhine-Waal University, earned in November 2021.
