Lisa Sun

Lisa Sun has a diverse work experience, primarily in the education sector. Lisa most recently worked at Success Academy Charter Schools as the Chief Learning Officer since August 2022. Previously, they held roles as an Executive in K-12 Learning from July 2020 to October 2023, and as a Director of Instructional Management from July 2018 to June 2020. Prior to that, Lisa was a Principal from June 2014 to June 2017 and a Leadership Resident from June 2013 to June 2014, both at Success Academy Charter Schools. Lisa also worked at Teach for America New York as a Manager of Teacher Leadership Development from July 2012 to June 2013. Lisa's early career included teaching at Success Academy Charter Schools from August 2010 to May 2012 and serving as a Student Curator at Yale University Art Gallery from May 2009 to June 2011, where they curated an exhibition exploring black identities in American art.

Lisa Sun earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from Yale University from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Childhood Education K-6 at Hunter College.
