Robert Peters

VP & Chief Academic Officer, Successful Practices Network at Successful Practices Network

Robert Peters, Ed.D, currently serves as Vice President at both the National Dropout Prevention Center and Successful Practices Network since June 2021. Previously, Robert held the position of Senior Director of Professional Learning at the International Center for Leadership in Education from March 2016 to June 2021. Prior to this role, Robert was the Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Manor Independent School District from 2009 to March 2016, where responsibilities included coordinating school improvement efforts and supervising various departments, including special education and health services. Robert's leadership experience also includes transformative roles as Principal, focusing on turning around low-performing schools and creating flexible educational programs. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University, and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Ethnic Studies from Texas Tech University.
