Smriti Rathi

Smriti Rathi is the founder of The Book Baker, a service that helps children create and publish their own story books. Smriti is currently working in this role. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Transformation Analyst at Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. starting in April 2021. From September 2018 to March 2019, they served as a Project Trainee at the same company, where they conducted market research, negotiated with suppliers, and initiated marketing campaigns. Before that, they interned as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Aks Foundation in 2017 and as a Strategy Intern at McKinsey & Company from April to June 2017. Smriti also had an internship at For My Shaadi in 2015 and worked as a Teacher Assistant at Expression & Freedom Speech and Drama Academy from June 2012 to May 2014.

Smriti Rathi completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. In 2014 and 2015, Smriti attended Duke University, focusing on Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, although the specific degree obtained is not mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Smriti Rathi has also earned several certifications. In November 2019, they completed the "Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS" certification from Code at Uni. In September 2019, they received certifications in "Decision-Making and Scenarios" and "Modeling Risk and Realities" from Coursera. In August 2019, they obtained the "Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling" certification, also from Coursera. Furthermore, they completed the "Introduction to Spreadsheets and Models" certification from Coursera in August 2019 as well.
