Malte Wittwer

Malte Wittwer has a diverse background in research and scientific roles. Malte is currently working at Südzucker as the Head of Downstream Processing and Biocatalysis. Prior to this, they worked at Octapharma as a Scientist in Protein Purification and Analytics. Malte also gained experience as a Research Scientist at RWTH Aachen University and as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität München. Additionally, they have completed a Research Traineeship at Stockholm University and an Internship at the Robert Koch Institute.

Malte Wittwer completed their Ph.D. in Biotechnology (Dr. rer. nat) from RWTH Aachen University from the year 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued their Master's degree in Biochemistry from the years 2015 to 2017 at Freie Universität Berlin.
